An indulgent combination of currants, lemon peel, and delicate jasmine, our Dionysus Candle evokes the feeling of a raucous bacchanal (but without the vicious hangover). Like a fine cabernet sauvignon, our Dionysus Candle is tart and complex, unlike more traditional fruit fragrances that can be cloyingly sweet or artificial.  Dionysus was the only member of the official Greek Pantheon that was not a full-fledged god (Hestia gave up her seat on Mount Olympus for him). Dionysus ruled over wine, fertility, and madness -- and just like him, this candle sure is a party!

This is one of the most delightful candles I've purchased in a while. You can smell it when it's not lit, and the currant is a really high quality version of that smell. Really happy with this purchase! It burns evenly and cleanly, and no smoke appears when you put it out. Really great candle - will purchase again!

I love these candles

I love these candles. They smell amazing and I like shopping from a local maker. The latest batch I got had some difficulty staying lit though.

When first starting the candle it’s a wood wick and it struggled really hard to stay lit , wasted a good amount of wax working that out . Other then that wonderful now smells excellent

Dionysus smells wonderful. And I can't say enough great things about the customer service. The first time I ordered, Joshua emailed to let me know there was a shipping delay because of a storm. When I let him know one of the candles from my first order arrived broken, he reached out immediately and provided a replacement alongside my new order.
