Refund policy

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at contact @ aromathea.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send instructions on how and where to send your package. Unless an item arrived damaged, the customer pays for shipping on returns. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages During Shipping
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. We can either send a replacement or refund you for the item.

 

Lost or Stolen Packages
Once an order has been marked as delivered by the carrier, Aphrodite’s Apothecary is not responsible for lost, stolen, or missing packages. We recommend double-checking your shipping address at checkout, monitoring your tracking updates, and checking with neighbors or your local post office if a package goes missing.

If your package is lost in transit (not marked as delivered), please contact us at contact@aphrodites-apothecary.com within 7 days of the original delivery date. We’ll help you open a claim with the carrier and do our best to assist, but we cannot guarantee replacement or refund until the carrier completes its investigation.

 

Wear and Tear & Damage from Everyday Use
Please note that Aphrodite's Apothecary is not responsible for items that are damaged due to everyday wear and tear, misuse, or improper care. Returns or exchanges will not be accepted for products that have been used or show signs of damage resulting from normal use. This includes, but is not limited to: broken necklace chains, tarnishing from exposure to water or chemicals, burned candle jars, or labels worn from handling. We reserve the right to determine whether a product issue is due to a manufacturing defect or user-related damage.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

 

Return Window & Timing

Returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery and shipped within 7 days of receiving your return label. If your return is not shipped within that period, the request will be voided and the items will no longer be eligible for a refund or exchange.

We understand that life happens and are happy to offer a brief grace period when possible — but to ensure fairness and consistency, returns shipped outside the stated window may not be accepted.

 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
